Xperia z2 not showing internal storage files in album, walkman and other apps

Recently after few days later updating to lollipop device has stopped showing the files like images music files which are in internal storage in apps like album, music player, and even ringtones are not being detected, tried clearing media storage cache, apps reset to default also, how can get back to previous state

If I'm right then you need to open the folders with your filemanager app and delete the .nomedia file - If you can't see it then you may need to enable an option in the filemanager app which says something like view hidden files

I have the same problem. I have deleted all the .no media files I can find in the internal storage but its still not working. What's going on?
