My issue is that the encryption does not work as it should.
I am using my work e-mail on my device and I have to encrypt the phone and the SD card to be able to use my email for security reasons.
When I encrypt the phone sometimes the phone says that there was some kind of problem and that I have to reset the phone and sometimes it works fine and i provide the phone a pin and all is well until i restart the phone or the phone runs out of batteries.
The encryption software does not seem to want to decrypt the SD card again but says that it is damaged even though it works fine in other devices after I format it. The phone suggest that i should format the SD card and I do but then I have to Encrypt the phone again and if im unlucky the encryption fails.
What to do?
My phone is an Xperia Z2 with the latest Android version 17.1.2.A.0.314
The SD card is a Samsung SD card with 64 GB of storage space.
Hey,
I have the same problem of "Damaged SD card" after encryption. But no problems for the encryption itself (except that it took a loooong time; about 12-13h for some reason).
As far as I know, except un-encrypting the phone, nothing works
This is a big issue as the phone itself doesn't have much memory.
If anyone has a solution, I'll take it.
Else, I guess i'll send a mail to the support of something
