Hi Sony,
We want the Z2 Compact, because that would be awesome. No more flash bleeding on pics, a glass (or metal) back and a 1080p screen. Waterproof. We would love it.

I think it'll be quite interesting if there is a Z2 compact but the Z1 compact was just released, it doesn't seem likely, I would think Sony will release it by the end of summer to compete with the iphone 6
I highly doubt if there would be a z2 compact soon because of the Z1 compact.
Lets see what the future holds.
Maybe a Z2 mini.Anyway, this is to be expected somewhere in September at IFA.
Yes that would be awesome!
For sure I'll buy it this Z2 Compact.
You will not probably see any Xperia Z2 Compact because of the 6 month release scheme on Xperia High-end samrtphones.
An Xperia Z3 Compact is more likely, much depending on the sales on Xperia Z1 Compact.

Oh yes! I also want! Can and HD, not Full HD. No flash bleeding and other marriage..
Well, the Z1 Compact was released 5 months after the Z1 and 1 month before the Z2.
There's no reason why a Z2 Compact shouldn't be released. Actually, there's tons of reason why it should: improvements in the screen, removal of the anti-shatter sheet and oleophobic protection directly on the display, SD801. The last things that people complained about the Z1 and Z1 Compact have been fixed.
All the improvements of the Z2 would make a killer Z2 Compact and make that phone a true menace not only to the iPhone but to Samsung's Galaxy line itself.
I just hope Sony doesn't take 5 months to release the Z2 Compact. In that sense, I think they should have had it prepared to present along the Z2. There is a very large market segment that wants high end devices without having to carry around enourmous phones. Sony's Compact line is well positioned to win over that segment in the Android market and even bring over iPhone users.
