Xperia Z1 doesn't turn on

Hi. I have an Xperia Z1 and it kept on displaying an error about apps etc that doesn't respond then I switched it off hoping to fix this. The phone didn't want to turn on again. I tried to reset it and connected it to the charger it first didn't show the notification light but I left it for an hour and tried turning it on. It still didn't work and I used the power button with the volume up then it vibrated and the red light came on while its connected to the charger but the phone still doesn't turn on and it's been 6 hours allready and the light is still red and doesn't turn on. The pc doesn't detect the phone. Does anyone know what I should do?

The only thing you can do is to try and perform a system repair and see if that fixes the issue

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)

Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

SUS support is closed. Now use PC Companion.

Connect your phone in flashmode (Volume down + Power button together)

Thats not flashmode power and volume down - Flashmode is with phone switched off hold volume down and connect your USB cable

Yes, you are right! I made mistake in my description. Cable instead of power button.
