Xperia Z1 display

Hi all,

I've recently had a line of dead/stuck pixels (I realise they're two different issues, but I cannot decipher for sure which one my Z1 is suffering from).  

The line of pixels runs down the very middle of the display and is most visible against a grey screen in the Service Menu.    

Naturally, I've looked to get it exchanged at the retailer, but they were most unhelplful - so I do hope Sony will be more proactive in resolving the issue with my Z1.

Anyone else had any Z1 display issues?

Many thanks for your advice - however, the retailer seems **bleep** bent on not helping me out, however - can you advise me of any London based Sony service centres?

Thanks for your advice all.  

Seems there aren't any service centres as such in London, other than SBE.  Looks like I'll be sending it off to them for a screen repair.  Here's to hoping I'll have some luck.

Any other suggestions are most appreciated!

Replace with a new LCD screen yourself following the repair video  it's much cheaper~

Surely you're not being serious, Sophia? I'd much rather Sony deal with the problem!

If it's a new phone don't do anything to it yourself. Just have any deal with it.

Yeah, if it's under the warrenty, Sony should pay for the bill. Hope you can succeed~

Thanks all for your replies, I'll send the handset off to SBE. Hopefully their tinkering won't compromise the waterproof feature of the Z1.
