On the desk top my email icon says there are 3 emails. I have 3 different accounts. When I click on the icon the combined inbox says there are 3 emails. Click on the approriate account and the inbox has 4 emails. Click on that inbox and it says no mail although there are 4 listed. The only way to get rid of this is to delete the account and reconfigure it. After a few days the phantom emails start to reappear. It is a pop3 incoming account. Any ideas?
Check your email settings with your account provider and there will be forwarding settings - In these settings you can change to or should be able to change to send once and delete when read or sync etc
