Did you get the update for new media apps or not ? Because you should not face such issues on new walkman app.
Anways try this and see if it helps
Settings > apps > all > walman > clear data
Do the same for these apps as well > walkman ( small sized app ) , Vsualiser , sound enhancement
If that doesn't help, clear data for media storage as well.
Regarding that special song that causes collapse of the walkman app. I suggest that you delete that file and send it again.
If possible edit it's meta data( even album art ) using Media go or any other editor.
