Hi, the touchscreen on my Xperia Z decided to fail completely on NYE. Its only 13 months old and wasn't dropped before it failed. Sony are saying to send it for repair but I need the IMEI number? Only problem is, is that I can't get into the phone to get this to send it off. Any advice please?
You can buy USB OTG cable and connect a mouse to unlock and use the device. The IMEI should also be found on the box.
Hi, thanks for the help with the IMEI number. I've eventually managed to find it but I don't know if its worth sending off the device or not for repair.
If the phone its not working properly you should
My phone got a crack in the screen.
My phone is just 11 months and sme days old. It has one year warranty.
The phone bought from an online store flipkart.com
When i consult with the service center they asked for 17500 Rs to replace the screen.
What should I do fix this. When I buy the product, flipkart.com said "I have 1 year manufacturer warranty". But When i called the customer care of sony, they told " flikart.com is not an authorized seller" .
Someone please help me
@asifali sorry to hear that, but you have 2 options
1. contact your local Xpeira Care
or
2. DIY, which will be cheaper BUT, it will void your warranty.

Sorry - but that's totally unhelpful when the screen is cracked and unusable.
