Xperia Z Throwing To Sony BDV-E190 Continuous Play

HI,
I have trailed the net and can't find anyone fixing this issue.
I have two Xperia Z's. Both of which when throwing Music via the Walkman app to the Sony BluRay Player BDV-E190 it will only play one song without continuing to the next. After that song has played it will go to play the next but message then appears and it 'disconnects from renderer device'. Is there anyway that these phones can play an entire album without the user having to keep going back to the phone to play the next song?!
Any help is much appreciated.

The phone should continue with the next rack without any problems.

Have you tried updating the firmware in your BDV-E190? See this page for more information and instructions: http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/BDV-E190/downloads/network-update.

Also make sure that your phones has the latest software by running Update Centre in the phone.

If updating doesn't help, try using Throw with another device to see if it's the phone or player that causes this. You can for example test with a computer. See this thread for more information: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/DLNA/m-p/351822.

Hi Rickard,

Many thanks for your speedy response.

(Apologies for the different alias, I have had issues logging back in, appears I have two accounts linked to my email address)

Further to your reponse, I can confirm that all devices have current updates.

I tried throwing from my Xperia Z to my PC Windows Media Player 12 (running on Windows 7) and got mixed results, sometimes the tracks would go onto the next, other times it would just replay the same song, personally I think that's an issue to do with the way WMP was handling it's playlist, it was very tempermental. I then downloaded & installed XMBC as per your suggestion. I found this had no problems whatsoever and continued playing tracks seemlessly, even when I put it to the test with fast forwarding through parts of tracks, which worked great. I guess this indicates that the throw feature works but is dependant on the device I am throwing to, in which case going back to my original issue would be the Bluray player and how that handles the Xperia Z throwing to it...

What are your thoughts?

Thanks again.
