Xperia Z problem

Hi,

I've got this phone recently(about 1 or 2 months old) but recently it didn't turn on(in the morning) after turning off (at night).

As per the information available on the web, tried my best to do hard reset but it wouldn't turn on. It is not recognised when I use the PC software(companion) too as the battery is flat and hence nothing happens.

I had sent it to the carrier's repair centre and have heard back from them saying the phone has 'liquid damage' and I would have to pay $355 for repairing it.

I've tried to tell them that it's not my fault, nor is there a liquid damage possiblity as the phone was working when I turned it off and it wasn't turning on but no use. Even if there is liquid damage how did the phone work all the while and suddenly not turn on.

I've told my carrier that I'm going to obudsman's office because I didn't want to pay for the repair. Also, I told my carrier's rep that I want to cancel the contract and was told as per the contract I'll have to pay for contract breaking charges etc. etc.

I want to know if any one else has has this problem. I can see on this forum lots of people have had this problem.

Need help.

Regards
