I had purchased my xperia Z IN May.Ihad trouble with it in 1st week of August and had to send it to the service center for repair.I got the phone back from the service center in the last week of August.Today exactly two months after i got it back from the service center the phone malfunctioned,I was putting the phone on charge with 25% still remaining and as soon as i put the pin into the socket the phone went dead.I have tried numerous times to power it on by using the power on and volume up button but this has not worked.I tried USB charging and was advised by the service center to charge the phone for a long time and try the same procedure again. The phone is now on charge but the red light on the top right hand corner that signifes that the phone is charging is not there. In the past I have notice that with switch put on everytime i tried to put the pin into the socket the phone would poer off and on by itself.Today it just went dead...need urget help and resolution to this
I had a similar issue with my Xperia Z few weeks ago.
connect your xperia to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 5 seconds > leave it charging for 1 hour even if you don't see any sign of charging > after one hour repair the phone with SUS
install SUS > restart your PC > run SUS > follow the steps > connect your phone to the PC > press and hold power & volume up once the phone vibrates release both keys and only press and hold volume down

Sir what is a wall charger?I am charging it with the normal charger that comes with the phone...Had tried the power on+volume up switch around an hour and a half back didnt work...that was about an hour after I had put it on charge
wall charger = regular charger, not the Xperia Z Dock nor charging through a computer
You might have to take it to a Sony repair center
