xperia z - how to verify battery quality

I am reading about the battery live of the Z and it seems my battery doesn t go as long as is reported

I have charged the phone 100 % and the battery is showing:'estimated stand by time: '13 hours' with stanima mode amd low battery mode on,

i have 3g/data  enabled, WIFI on, screen on lowest brilliance and bluetooth off

pls see pic attached. Shouldn t it say 'several days left on battery' after it is fully charged???

how do i know the battery is below par?

thanks kindly for yr replyScreenshot_2013-03-02-11-29.jpg

Yeah, that is odd. When mine is fully charged, it generally shows around 4-5 days standby. Do you have the mcafee security suite running in the background? as I know that stops the stamina mode from being able to make the necessary power savings, so it is necessary to force stop that app from running.

if you dial *#*#7378423#*#* on your keypad, it will bring up service tests, go into that and then scrool down to battery health test

thanks for reply

although my battery seems better, I am after 12 hrs of average usage on a battery level of 45% (from 100%) at 1100 this morning

i don t see  'service tests' only the following submenu on battery charging and the main menu... can any sony adminsitartor please advise, do I need to replace the battery or change the device ????Screenshot_2013-03-02-21-48-44.jpgkhjghkg.jpg

it's 'service tests' you need to go to, not 'service info' it should be in the same menu as where you clicked through to service info

also, can you go into 'power management' under the main settings section and post a screenshot of both the overview, and then click on the screen % bit and screenshot that as well?

If the phone is still new (which I guess it is, if it's a Z), it will take some (5-10) charging cycles before it reaches maximum capacity. My battery says 1 day 6 hours left (at 95%) without any power saving functions activated except for location based WiFi. With stamina and low battery mode activated it says 4 days 17h.

thank you i eporting stand by times over 2 days  and is increasing and not decreasing anymore. perhaps more charging will add to the battery efficiency. over time the battery will decrease of course on the basis of life expectancy is it easy to replace the battery if that happens??

@bras4real I just got my Xperia Z yesterday so I'll have to get back to you regarding battery life, as of right now I have really bad battery life, but like Sammuel said it should get better in few days, I'll report back

Had my Z since Thursday last and the Stamina Mode now doesn't affect the life of the battery at all according to the app.

With it on or off I'm currently showing 15 hours on a full charge. Annoyed with these glitches. Never had so many on a phone before.
