Xperia Z charging slow after update

Hi,

I have updated my operating system few days ago and I found that my phone charges very slow. It sometimes says about 3 hrs for full charges .  But I am not sure what is happening here. 

update version is : 5.0.2

build : 10.6.A.0.454

Thss is the smoothest update ever and am fine with the current version. does disabling auto update will fix overheating?

I don't know what other apps you have running in the background, also if the phone gets too hot, it will shut down by itself, it won't overheat.

URGENT HELP NEEDED
I have updated my xperia zr to lollipop two days ago... But after upgradation battery is charging very slowly.. Even after charging for 1hr it charges for 10% only... Does anyone have the similar problem? Kindly help me with solution urgently, I'll be very thankful...

I am also having same problem. My ZR is charging very slowly. It was fine before i update to lolipop.

I updated to Lollypop 3 days back and everything seems fine, except it takes ages to charge the phone to 100%. Earlier it used to get charged from 10% to 100% within an hour and now it's taking more than 3 hours!. Also, the phone seems to get heated up during charging, even in sleep mode. I hope Sony optimizes the software and releases the fix soon. 

There are other design issues too. But I can live with that. But not with a phone that's discharged all the time. It seems like all the power thats going to the phone during charging is used up in heating the phone and not charging!

current battry shows 88%.

I connected to charger and after some time it shows below on lock screen

"charging (3 hours until full)

and its 91% now ans shows

"charging (33 min  until full)"

and actuall charging time from 88% to 91% is more than 15 min

what is happening ??

is my xperia Z is charging then what rate?

its connect with original cable.

I found that recharging worked better when the phone is off.

It doesnt overheat and it charges faster.

Ofcourse this is not ideal.

But i guess we will just have to wait till sony releases Lollipop 5.1.

Again this is a failed update from sony.

i also updated to lolipop its a worst decision. My phone charging issues are lot as mentioned above. It took 4-5 hrs fr charging and drains battery very fast. Pls soon find and software correction and provide us in next update soon. Else i thot of changing to iphone
