Xperia X Performance Adaptive brightness Display issue when using Style Cover

When useing original smart cover Adaptive brightness display sensor working very poor and /or doesn't work sometime display remaining dark when open flip smart cover but sometime working good can increase brightness as normal.

Hi @Toh, I'm sorry to hear about this.

I just want to make sure that I understand your question correctly. You are using the SCR56, is that correct? And sometimes when you open up the cover the adaptive brightness setting doesn't work at all? How often would you say that i'ts not working, is it every second time or every tenth time?

How is the adaptive brightness working if you aren't using your Style Cover? Is it working all the time or you are still experiencing the same behaviour?

If you haven't tried rebooting your phone in safe mode to see if there any change when third party applications aren't loaded I would recommend trying that.

I would also recommend making sure that your phone has the latest software installed. If you aren't sure if you have installed the latest software or not you can download Xperia Companion for Windows or Mac. Install the program and connect your phone to the computer > start the program. In the top left corner you will be able see if there is an update available or not.
