xperia v screen flickers

I've been using this phone for the past 1 week now. The screen sometimes flickers and goes back to home when I'm searching the net. Playing games like 2fuse flickers also but it will just resume.

Android version: 4.1.2

Build no: 9.1.A.1.140

Any help will be much appreciated.

I experienced the same problem yesterday, while playing PvZ2, the screen would go blank and then resume on the pause menu.

If you are only getting this problem when using one particular application, I would advise contacting the developer of the game in question regarding this.

I tried playing a few different type games, CSR Racing, Golf star, Hungry shark, deer hunter. All of them had the same problem. The screen would flash black and then resume on the pause menu. Tried rebooting the phone and playing the games directly after reboot was complete, still the problem persists. I then downloaded usemon to monitor my RAM and CPU usage, RAM usage wasn't a problem as the system still had available memory but the CPU maxed out during the games. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.51ghz dual core is strong enough to handle all those games, according to all the reviews I’ve read. Could it be that there is a factory flaw on my phone?

YEAH GUYS .... I AM ALSO FACING THE SAME PROBLEM....I HAVE INSTALLED AND TRIED MANY GAMES...WHICH ARE COMPATIBLE...LIKE CANDY CRUSH, SUBWAY SURFERS, TEMPLE RUN.ETC ETC...BUT THIS SCREEN BLACKS OUT FOR A SEC OR TWO...AND THEN DISPLAYS THE PAUSE MENU OF THE GAME! I AM REALLY FRUSTRATED BY THIS PROBLEM! I BOUGHT MY XPERIA V IN SEPTEMBER 2013 AND I HAVE BEEN FACING PROBLEM SINCE THE START! SECONDLY MY XPERIA KEYBOARD JUST SUDDENLY CLOSES ITSELF WHILE I AM USING THE FACEBOOK APP ON MY MOBILE AND I AM TYPING!! PLS HELP ME WITH THESE TWO OF MY ISSUES!

sorry i forgot to mention two other problems which i face! one is while using camera to take pictures...it flickers too! mostly when i zoom in to take a picture ...it itself zooms out after a blink even before i have taken a picture! secondly while viewing photos in album.......the pictures zoom out themselves! lol like magic! after a blink of black screen! so far the biggest problem i am facing with my xperia v is the screen flickers and blinks!

I'm having the same problem with any application I open. Even when I open the album to see the photos... I found the same problem..... Tell me pls how to fix this problem...............

Me 2 these 2 issues are so popular on xperia I don't know why..so frustrating it gets me on my nerves

I'm still experiencing it now even browsing or playing other game than 2fuse. Will wait for new software update maybe it will be fix.
