Xperia U - SOUND PROBLEM

hi! my xperia u lost its sound while i was watching youtube video. i thought it was just a problem with the video, but im wrong. i have tried to reset to factory settings and restore backup but nothing works. but when earphones are inserted i can hear sound. please help me how to fix this problem. thank you.

That seems strange, have you tried to do a repair of the phone software?

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Let me know if you are still having this issue after the repair of the phone software.

this is what i get. sony does not have software available for my phone. why is it like this? what else can i try to fix my phone? please help...

Hmmm.. Try to send to service center or flash rom *not recommend*

Have you rooted your phone or something like that?

Deactivate Anti-Virus software or Firewall software on your computer and also make sure to have the latest Java installed on your computer:

www.java.com

If problem still persists, try on another computer.
