xperia u otg cable error

I bought my Xperia U 2 weeks ago and i was amazed with its special feature of connecting USB drive.But sadly its not working with me because when i connect my usb pen drive with my device it detects normally but while transfering files(.apk files,songs,photos) it completes half way and then pauses and eventually i get a notification that the usb storage device removed unexpectedly.And to make sure whether is it cable problem but it comes out to be no its not cable problem because i tried it with many cables with some original samung also.And i even tried with bunch of other pen drives too.I used Sandisk Cruzer Blade 4GB,8GB and Sony 8GB too but still no hope.Please help me to sort out the problem.Is it the problem of device or else?I need to use my pen drive since Xperia U has a very limited storage.Does Sony manufacture their own OTG cables too?

Unfortunately we don't offer any official USB OTG cable at the moment. I have never tested this using a OTG cable but USB pen drives works fine using the LiveDock.

So its not my devices' or softwares' problem  basically my 16k phone is not capable of such a feature.I also tried same cable and same pendrive with Galaxy S2 it worked like charm.So livedock's the ultimate option?

Use the original nokia cable. No problems for me available at 150 rs

From where  did you buy the cable?And are you sure it will work properly because I already tried Samsung cable but it did no work?Is it my phone's problem shall I get it checked by Sony?And also the list of apps it is mentioned gangstar rio but I already installed it but it lags like hell and I also installed ram booster but no hope,any solution?Thanks.

Not possible at all

Sony does not make otg cables

Download file manager

then go to /mnt

its one step above of sdcard

ie

/mnt/sdcard

USB should be in

/mnt/usbdusk

ohhh then it must be fraud... i just downladed directorybind app. then i can able to transfer files from pendrive to mobile and vice versa. how can i view directly from pandrive without transferring.. .. file manager doesnt work with

Download astro and go up one directly and click usbdisk
