I bought the Xperia U three days ago. Though it offers a 5MP camera with HD video recording, the picture quality and video quality are substandard. Due to the absence of an SD card, the picture and video compression rates are too high. Digital noise is present even at the pictures taken in full day light. Highly pixelated video is produced even at 720p recording. It would be great if somebody help me to set the video and photo comression rate to minimum. Or please give me a link to the app that can decrease the compression rate.
The phone comes with a 5MP camera and I have the right to get a decent picture and video quality. I have an xperia mini pro also. The video and picture quality of the mini pro was average and I was satisfied with it. Both these phones come with 5mp camera.
