I am thinking of buying the xperia u but the memory is a big let down for me... I know that 2gb is reserved for apps and 4 gb for media (videos, pics etc.)... But i want to ask if it is possible to use the media storage (4gb) for apps? Thankyou in advance.
Nopes you can't use that 4gb for apps
Only for Media
Yes you can , by going to application manager & transfering the apps to phone internal memory...
Also Xperia U supports USB OTG, so u can connect pendrive/harddisk/mouse etc to teh mobile & transfer or view files from ur pendrive...
Have you used the application manager to transfer the apps?? I want confirmation if it actually works as 2 gb is too less for me....
ya it works i have already tried it
So u have a total of 6gb to save your apps?? Do u need to root the phone to do it?
