Quick question for anyone who can answer.
So I just got the Sony Xperia TX with Android 4.1.2 and whenever I get a text message, the only notification I get are the tone and the blinking light. The screen doesn't light up and stays asleep. The last android phone I had displayed the home screen whenever I received a text message with a notifications icon at the top , which I was something I was used to. Whenever I reach it out of my pocket I would know immediately that I received a text even when I didn't realize when it was received. Now, I only have tone and a blinking light to go on, which sometimes is hard to notice. I thought having the screen to also light up was helpful.
So, my question is the phone only supposed to do the tone and blinking light and not the screen lighting up? Is there way I can get the screen to light up whenever I receive a text message?
