Xperia tipo HID support

Hello,

HID should be supported by new Android (version 4+). I was trying to connect HID device to my phone (it is small keyboard with trackball). I connect it successfully by bluetooth, but was not working at all. It is HID device, so my question is: Is Android for my phone supporting HID? (It was working on other phone from HTC)

Is this phone supporting HID technology?

Unfortunately HID is not supported by Xperia tipo. you can find more info about supported Bluetooth profiles in tipos white paper.

but is there any way how to make this phone supporting HID, for example, by using root? I really want to use external keyboard with my phone, but there are not any reliable applications for do it.

Now there is a way!!!

First install Bluez IME

and then BluezIME-HIDEnabler (scan QR code)
