Xperia Tablet Z wont connect to pc companion

So when I try to pair with my pc on the pc companion app it says go to settings -> usb connectivity -> pc name but it isn't there so I clicked on can't find it or something and then it asked me to plug my tablet into my pc and i did then i get this screen:

But my xperia z3 could connect to it wireless without having any problem.

Info:

Laptop is running windows 8.1

Xperia tablet is running android 4.4.4

Xperia z3 was running android 4.4.4 when it first connected to the PC companion and now it's android 5.0.2 and it still works.

Sony pc companion version is 2.10.259

What if you run PCC on compatibility mode?

Ok i understand how compatibility mode works now but it didn't make a difference. the application also looks exactly the same

I wasn't able to see the first picture until now, disable the firewall and antivirus on your computer and try again.
