Xperia Tablet Z - Clock while in cradle - Screen switches off

I have configured my tablet that when I put it in the cradle the clock is shown (I think it is called SmartConnect). There was nothing else on the screen, just the clock.

Since about two or three updates ago whenever i put it in the cradle the clock is only shown on the regular lock-screen and then after some seconds the screen switches off.

How can I remedy this? I want the screen to not switch off completely and I want it to only show the clock against a black background.

BTW, I have found this thread but I do not have the option for "clock" in daydream, only "colours", "google fotos" and "senseme slideshow". should i maybe better post in that thread? Also the ClockPlus addon wants access to my mails, SMS, call protocolls - why?? I just want a clock on my screen.

Try settings-apps-all-smart connect,clear data.

hi alexdon, I wanted to drop in quickly and first say thanks for your quick reply. i tried deleting the data and re-added the action (docking station-> start clock). now the action doesn't even start. i entered a second one with the same settings, now the clock starts but in regular alarm clock mode (not the "tischuhr" = table clock).

anyway, i'll try deleting the data again and adding the action again and let you guys know.

Yeah,that it what I wanted to suggest,clearing data and readding the action.I do not have the tablet,but it is possible in other xperias.
