Hi,
My Xperia T has died all of a sudden completely. It does not recharge, neither turns on at all. I am generally a very careful user. So it didn't fell or something. I don't even play games or use apps that might drain the battery. On one fine morning (which was my birthday) it simply stopped working. For few days it turned on when I connected for charging. But last few days even that has stopped. I tried the power+volume up several times. Some times it vibrated thrice, most of the times not. But it didn't solve the issue. I am not even able to take a backup of my data. I don't want to loose all my contacts etc. for no mistake of mine. That too for a device NOT EVEN ONE YEAR OLD! Seriously the worst mobile performance I have ever seen, unless Sony could provide me a good and quick solution!
Hi,
I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried to start the phone without SIM-card and SD-card? You could also try to hold the ON/OFF button + volume down(+) for about 10 seconds without having the phone connected to any power source. Without trying to power ON the phone, connect it to the charger via wall socket and let it charge for 2-3 hours before you try to power it ON again.
But if there are no improvement, I can only suggest that you perform a software repair on your phone via Update Service:
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
Download and install SUS at your PC, follow the instructions that appear.
Note that by performing a software repair, you will unfortunately lose your personal data.
