Xperia T - Screen Lock and call problems/Call Answer problems

Hi,

I picked up my new Xperia T last week and already getting frustrated that it seems to make calls, send messages and generally do things I don't want it to while locked.

I think it may be because the task list on the black strip at the top of the phone is available even when the phone is locked but it is causing me no end of problems.

In addition I have found when I have an incoming call the green answer slide can be unresponsive - anybody else having this problem?

This is my first foray in to Andriods and everything else has been excellent, but if this phone can't get the basics right then its going back.

Cheers

Ted

This feature is driving me nuts on this phone as I'm accidently disabling 3G etc while it's in my pocket. Wish there was a way to disable this without having to set a pin.

Change it to pattern lock and just have the pattern set as 3 dot swipe,

just the same as slider lock.

I'm actually going to crack up.-received this phone (Xperia T - LT30) on tuesday, I've only had it 6 days, and it needs replacing already, issue is that my screen after a few hours charging is blank with just a green LED in the top left corner of the screen.

I had setup profiles so that when it was charging certain aspects of the phone would turn on or turn off.

the other thing that I setup before charging was a pin code for unlocking the phone. then plugged in for charging, and now no phone.

called the provider, and they have to send out a new phone. Slightly_frowning_Face

the soft reboot (power + Volume Up) done nothing, phone is cold and lifeless. Slightly_frowning_Face

Computers USB won't even detect phone to do a reset, if the case was able to come off the battery would be able to be removed to do a hard reset, but no, SE decide to enclose the battery so no one can get at it. not cool!

not good for a flagship phone.

If you can, go for another phone and forget the Xperia T.

If you have the chance to choose another one, do it.
