Xperia T screen died.

Downloaded a new OS update & phone initally worked. Picked up phone within 2 hours & the screen has died. Phone rings, computer identifies external device but no screen whatsoever. Any clues?

Check if forcing a shutdown might help. Press and hold both on/off and volume + key at the same time till you feel 3 vibrations in a row. Wait a few seconds and then try to power on again as you normally do.

I did the recommendations and accordingly the phone started working properly!

Happens the same to me but after restarting, the problem hasn't gone

@Hugotamayo - In this case please attempt a software repair:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps
