I have 2 Xperia T mobiles. One was sent to SBE repair centre for issues with the loudspeaker (amongst many other issues) and they said that they fixed the fault by replacing a “carrier lower frame assembly”. I am a little sceptical!
My other Xperia T has the same issue. I have now found that when the phone is set to silent and whilst on a call, when selecting to activate the loudspeaker, it does not activate. The only way to get it to work is to press on any key on the onscreen keypad, or ensure that the phone is not set to silent mode to be able to get the loudspeaker working in a call.
Can anyone test the following on their Xperia T for me please. The more who can test this the better. I have placed a video on You Tube to demonstrate the issue I am facing.

I most be one of the most unlucky Xperia T owners, as both my mobiles have lots of the same issues, which apparently only affect me!! Hmmm!
The phones have had clean installs using SUS in an attempt to resolve the issues, if indeed software related.
Cheers

No fix as yet and no update as to when this will be addressed. Sony still investigating the issue.

Sony UK have confirmed that this bug will not be resolved by any future update.
Hi. Suddenly i had loudspeaker problem. Can´t hear any incoming call. I think the problem comes with restore from app Restore and Backup.
I restore from another point and resolve the problem.
I hope you can help it.
Does that affect JB 4.3.1 ?? Anyone tested? Well, I hate touch sounds and they're always off, but it would be good to know about other issues to test for.. well as long as on silent mode for touching and typing never had issues with loudspeaker.
Hi! When I've upgraded software to 4.3 from 4.1.2 I haven't any sound! Music not working, films too! What I'm supposed to do? What is wrong? When I returned to 4.1.2 everything works fine.
