Xperia T keeps switching off and won't turn on unless connected to a wall charger

Hi guys,

My ohone has been shutting down on its own randomly and I can't turn it on - not even through power + vol up - unless I connect it to a wall charger. I've had this issue for around a week now and it's getting worse. While earlier it used to happen once a day, now it happens multiple times.

What could the issue be?

Power and volume up will not turn your phone on - However if it won't switch on unless connected to a power source then it could be a faulty battery or battery connection

Welcome to the community, 

This could also be related to a SIM card or SD card, you could try removing one or the other and see if the issue continues. But as Thommo said, this could very well be related to hardware.
