Xperia SP switches off after 1 minut. Unless I get the sim card out.....

Dear people,

As the line above says, my telephone switches off after 1 minut.

I've did the Update Service things. Installed updates and installed the phone again. It didn't help.

Now I've discoverd that if the sim card is not in the phone, the phone stays on/the phone works well. But he.. you understand I need the sim card.

Ik hope someone can help me.

See if the voice problem still occurs or not,keep it like that for some time.

He's working in save mode for 10 minutes now and doesn't switch off as he was before after 1 minut.

But I can't work in save mode forever, I think?

I will stay in save mode for a longer while. If he works well, what do I have to do, so that's he working well in the normal mode?

i think its related to an app you recently installed then... safe mode load only stock apps when you start the phone i think

ParaSense is right,it could be related to a 3rd party app,maybe a task killer,an antivirus etc.What have you installed lately?

I had no task killer, McAfee was on it but didn't install it myself-thought it was some kind of stocked app.

Yesterday I installed the Etsy app.

But now he is clean from 'not stocked apps' and only works in save mode.

Sorry, I'm a noob about this stuff.

What do I have to do so that he is also working in normal mode?

In safe mode,3rd party apps are not loaded.So you cannot do things to make it work in normal mode,some apps are just incompatible.

I understand, but he's clean from other apps, after several resets to fabric settings and using the Update Service. So the app that is probably disturbing something is gone. I don't get that part.

Do I have to go to the store to fix the phone or is he forever dead?

have you tried repair with sony update service???

edit: soz now i saw you have... try with pc companion to.. and factory reset it from your phone.. if nothing works try flash stock ftf file with flash tool...

I've done the 2 options that was possible with the Update Service.

I did it 2 times. The first time there where 2 options. Update and reinstall or something. The second time the only option was that reinstall thing.

PC Compagion wasn't working because the phone is switching off. Can I try this also while i'm in the save mode?
