XPERIA SP, charging issue

I bought XPERIA SP on 16 Sep and since than I m facing charging issue as it keeps on charging even after the battery is fully charged and displays that the phone is on charging. Due to which most the time I get confused. This is really very irritating and annoying. I also visited @Sony service centre which resulted into vain after doing software repairing activity by them.
So, pls suggest now what should I do in the regard.

The phone stop charging when the battery is full. It will however always indicate charging when you have the charger connected to the phone, even when the phone is fully charged.
