Xperia SP Camera Superior Auto Resoultion

After the Android 4.3 12.1.A.0.266 Update,I took a photo,realising it was 16:9 ratio and went into the Album app under the details and it was 3104 by 1746, which is about 5MP +. How do I change the resulotion or any other options for 8 MP or even 7 MP like last time?

Open the camera app and check the settings

Settings under superior auto don't allow to change the resolution under camera there's only self timer,smile shutter,preview and burst with long press...Then settings show only quick launch,geotagging,auto upload,touch capture volume key as,shutter sound and data storage... There's no way to change the resolution except for Manual Mode... Suggestions how?

theres no way to change resolution in superior mode

but in manual can choose 8 whit hdr off

so we suposed to use manual insted of superior

and another change is that for sweep panaroma you have no flash and cant change ev like before

Hello, I also wonder this, before the camera was 7mplx in superior auto, and is now 5mplx with android 4.3 , it is safer to have scene recognition should reduce the screen size, but in other models like the xperia Z2 superior quality is superior auto is 8mplx with this is solved it seems to me, this is manufacturer settings

Root your phone, install Xposed installer, and then install Cybershot™ Xposed module on it... then you will get full 8MP resolution on Superior Auto.
