XPERIA SP CAMERA PROBLEM.

I am having a Sony Xperia SP and what i feel about the camera is worst.On zooming the photograph it is blur....

need some help from sony side to improve the camera quality of the phone. either by some software update or something else.

There is practically no harm complaining & is 100% free. After all $$ is paid. This shud b view as feedback for improvement. Sony shud thank us for the time spend to feedback. If thing get fix in the next patch release isn't tat going 2 b sweet?

Poor camera, poor wifi connections and a screen that attracts dirt like a magnet put me off buying this mobile. I was banking on its smaller size, fast processor and big battery but good wifi connection especially is very important

Hi, someone can try different app to take picture? such us procapture, camera fx and camera fv-5? If the problem is similar to xperia's z we can solve it in this way untill bug fix will arrive

I am still waiting for the fix to decide buying this phone. When I am waiting, more and more common issues are raising against SP like Wifi and display problems. I expected a lot from Sony while they announced this phone. I even gave away my XJ to buy this one. I was that much impressed with this one.

Apart from all these my worst concern is the lack of support from Sony people in this forum. They are not addressing the issues well. Do they think that our questions and worries doesn't deserve to be answered? Or are they still studying the issue?

Damn, this phone it's amazing... I am forced to buy another brand for the camera? this makes me angry ...Please, support, can you answer and fix it?

Just got the phone before few days, was reading the reviews, knew the camera is not good but decided to give it a shot. But camera is just terrible, even after i knew that is not good, so much noise surprised me. 3-4 years old phones can make better photos. If you plan to watch the images on wide screen monitor, you can consider you have no camera at all,. Hope Sony will fix things up:smileyconfused:

I've had this phone for around a month now, and I really like it - except for the camera.  I signed up knowing this, but it's still a real disappointment.

I just downloaded the vignette app to see if this could produce better images, but unfortunately it does not solve the general mushiness of the images.  It doesn't apply quite as much sharpening by default which some might prefer, but images still look more like water colour paintings than photos when enlarged.

I find it hard to believe that one of the supposed selling points for this phone is a sony EXMOR RS camera sensor.  The image quality from this camera is far inferior to the standard non-backside illuminated camera on my old HTC Sensation - a two year old 8MP job, that wasn't really highly rated back then.

I do wonder whether Sony have purposely crippled the camera on this phone to avoid stepping on the toes of the Xperia Z.

Got my xperia sp a week ago, the camera of this phone was so disappointing, I've read alot of review and it was said that it did not have a good camera although it has exmor rs, however I was shock that  the quality is below average (it's not what I'm expecting) , lots of noise and the pictures a bit red and oranged.

Hope Sony will fix this asap..

Equipped with exmor RS then it should be on the higher level of photo quality, however my nokia 5530 a 4 year old phone captures much better photo.
