Xperia SP 4.4 Kitkat update- was it to mislead customers.

Hi team,

Sony had promised kitkat update for SP in December,

Now the site shows its under investigation and there has been no updateds for past 3 months.

Is the company trying to lure customers with fake promises to enhance sale?

Can someone throw some light on this matter. Are we ever going to get the KITKAT that was promised?

Generally I see that we are all under androids commands and this is really annoying... They developed a free software but, in reality they control the flow of the market by developing more hostile to ram versions to push the customers to purchase more expensive smartphones... I really thinking about Windows phone or Firefox phone. At least if you buy a Windows phone you are sure whatever the update you get that your phone well run it smoothly without 1gb ram Jesus Christ!
