Xperia SP 4.4 Kitkat update- was it to mislead customers.

Hi team,

Sony had promised kitkat update for SP in December,

Now the site shows its under investigation and there has been no updateds for past 3 months.

Is the company trying to lure customers with fake promises to enhance sale?

Can someone throw some light on this matter. Are we ever going to get the KITKAT that was promised?

Be patient the KITKAT update will be out in at some time ....

I think this will resolve ALL the matters that 4.3 version created. THe 4.3 version was a complete failure.

and after few days they turned it into "under investigation"

Bro, as sony has given a latest 205 update for 4.3, This may be the last stable version for SP. Be happy with it:smileysmileythumbsup:

New firmware for Jelly Bean 4.3 in June and then Kit Kat 4.4 in July? DOUBTFUL! That's too fast, I think. According to Sony Software Team is still struggling to fix camera issues and can't even figure it out until now.

It will be released in July 2015 or 2016. PROBABLY!

But, I really hope it's gonna happen next month. LOL

It's not a surprise for me to see SP's KitKat status is under investigation. I believe it's really under investigation since Sony KitKat ROM on Z1 is running about 1GB on RAM.
That's freakin crazy for a KitKat. It's said that KitKat is RAM friendly.

@Bee-Ant Kitkat was even runs in 512 Ram , so i think our Xperia SP Device will run Kitkat smoothly
