I've been using an Xperia Sola since one year without problems but since two weeks I have had issues with the touchscreen.
At the beginning I was no able to do anything, neither unlock it! I managed to restart it more times and at the end I decided to try upgrading the software with PC companion. (Thing that I didn't want to do because I had read posts about slower reaction of the phone with the new software release).
After the update thouchscreen problems were still there even if not as before but I think this is not due to the new software...Now I have the right lower corner of the screen that doesn't react, I have to try more times and to apply more pressure on it to get the result. Sometimes there are even other areas of the screen with the same problem, like left lower corner and right central zone.

Sometimes it works better but it is a rare event!
I've read a lot of posts with similar problems, even in italian, and no one of them have had a fix by Sony nor a technical official statement from it! I don't want to waste time sending my phone to a repair center to have back the same problem, so I kindly ask Sony to give me (us) a clear feedback on this issue which confirms that the problem is known and that a (real, working) fix has been found.
