Xperia shuts down

Peace i give a problem starting my xperia z1s since itself shut itself down. I restarted itself twice before turning off and since then has refuse to start. Pls respond

Have you tried  holding the Power key and the Volume Up key together for around 15 seconds?

Please could this be battery problem? My xperia Z1s turned off and refuses to start.now it comes on when the battery is between 25 to 30% and turns off sometimes at this same range only to power up again after over 6hrs or more pls I have tried resetting the phone but it does not want to accept flashing .pls what do I do

Yes it even powers on but stays on for only 3minutes or less before the screen will blank off nd the battery has refused to charge above 36%. If the phone turns off it takes up to 1hr or more before it turns off
