Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Sorry to hear about your phone. Have you tried to charge your phone for a couple of hourse using another charger? If you have with no success, I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:

Hi,

I'm expering the exakt same issue. When I connect a charger a red light is active on the phone. Connecting the phone to a computer the red light is activated but phone is not visible from computer.

My phone started with this behavior after having it turned on in a bag in a location with extremly bad cellphone coverage and about +15 degrees celsius. I shot some photos with the phone and then about 2 hours later the phone was totally dead and I havn't been able to boot it.

Have you charged it for several hours? If the phone still doesn't turn on when you press the power button and volume up at the same time until the phone vibrates, I would suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet". Do this without the phone connected and follow the guide provided in the program.
