Xperia S Wi-fi and GPS not working

Sir, i have Xperia S i have using the phone from so many time suddenly from today morning i am trying connect wi-fi but its not working, when i trun on the wi-fi and scaning for network its not working i also try gps the gps is also not working only bluetooth is working i have latest firmware updated earlier build number 6.1.A.2.55, after that is working fine, just from today morning its not working i have tried the sony repair my phone from desktop still its not working is there any hardware issue.

I am also an Iranian . I confirm that WIFI on SONY XPERIA S with JB update don t work in my country ATTTT ALLLL.

it s an important problem and for use it we need to remove or sim cards or going to airplane mode

we(iranian sony xperia s user) really sad from this .

please  any one  can access to sony support smartphone report this to there and  say this big problem to there untill they fix it on faeture build

Why is the JB update not available in India. Already another firmware is certified, but still not got JB in India

I have the same problem, with the las updated to  Android 4.1.2, my xperia don't detect any wifi points.

# Wi-Fi issue, not connecting

# GPRS data on 2g doesn't connect at all, ( changed all APN settings). When connected to 3g then it woks very slowly. Please fix this mobile data conenctivity issues.

# SPEAKER VOLUME has been compressed so much, it's very low.....not at all loud. FIX THIS.

# Battery is draining very fast in this JB Version 6.2.B.0.200 as compared to ICS, phone gets heated upto 48-49 degree C. It is taking now 20% Battery for calling on headphones 1 hour and 10% battery drain while listening songs on headphone for 1 hour.

1750 mAH battery for this HD 4.3" phone is not enough...Kindly increase battery power by improving firmware.

# 1080p video capturing lags a lot. You have reduced the fps in 1080p videos ? It's very bad, poor quality of video. Check the image added.

This JB is full of bugs and issues...there is no use of this JB for Xperia S and SL users, Sony you kept us waiting for so long, you gave Xperia P and J JB before us, then you supplied us a wrong firmware full of bugs huh ??? DISAPPOINTED JB UPDATE FROM SONY.

# SONY, we have EXTENDED BATTERY MODE, and when phone is 14% battery low, it shows warning of "SWTICH TO STAMINA MODE" WAHT kind of troll is this, you have put upon You missed Stamina mode right...still you shows notification.

# No HDR mode, No Superior auto mode, No Burst mode...CAMERA is poor than before....FIX ALL THESE ISSUES....OR YOU people are just insulting the users of your 2012 FLAGSHIP device, is this how you treat your users. ????

# You gave us 685 MB RAM in JB update and 800 MB + RAM for Xperia P in JB udpate....waht kind of miscalcuclation is this.

Better get a repsonse on this JOHAN ??? Give a clear explanation on every point i mentioned here.

I've been using Jelly Bean constantly since the update and I can say that it's awesome! The Wi-Fi is working like crazy, GPS is working really cool. It's faster, but it's power consuming.

Back on ICS I was using the phone for 3 days before charging. Now, it's 2 days. But, I like it!

Don't flash other rom to your phone! Use the one that will be updated from SUS or SPC!

I flashed the generic rom shared here when I couldn't wait for the update, but later I found that the wifi, gps are not working. I repaired the phone with SUS and now I got the firmware for the phone. There are SI numbers that are the same as on ICS (you can see those in the service menu).

I can say, thank you Sony for this brilliant update! Hope that the new firmare will bring bug fixes.

I upgraded to the latest version as usual via Flashtool and wifi is dead. Downgraded to old UK version via flashtool, wifi still dead. Installed most recently available UK version available via SONY Update Software, (ended with 6.1.A.2.45), wifi is still dead.

Each time i reset all settings to factory settings, wiped all data etc. I don't understand how wifi can just stop working like this, even when i'm downgrading and resetting all data to factory settings

Edit: Finally seemed to have fixed the wifi issue. I think it might have been after i enabled USB debugging and then reinstalled via flashtools. Not 100% whether this was the reason it's working now. Hopefully it will continue to work.

I have another problem after upgrade to JB: Some widgets are inactive and without information (e. g. Gmail) or completely missing (e. g. Businness Calendar) after switching the phone off and on again. Will it be fixed in the 211 update, please?

We have the same problem in Syria , WiFI on Sony Xperia S with JB update don`t work, please fix it at the next firmware update. Thanks
