Xperia S: Illumination bar problem

It is water damaged, and I'm glad that the phone didn't die completely. Almost everything works fine.

However, somehow the illumination bar at the bottom is always on with maximum brightness.

Always. Even when the phone is turned off.

I tried draining all of the battery, and even when the phone was not able to turn on anymore, the illumination bar was still on.

I have no problem having it on all day, but I'm a little bit worried with battery drain and stuff.

Can somebody help fixing this?

You may be able to resolve this via an update, however if this occurred during the liquid damage then it is more likely a hardware issue in which case there is not a lot we can do given the cause of the damage.

I have the same issue with my xperia Miro after electricity problem while the phone was charching always notification bar at buttom is on with dark blue if you fix it plz let me know and how
