xperia S switching off - now wont even restart

my sony is constantly switching off, now it wont event turn back on

connect your phone to the wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 8 seconds > let it charge for 30min> try to turn it on

I suggest that you take it to your local Sony's customer care , they will help you for sure

according to sony the only center is in ashford, which is no good as i am in newcastle

You can also contact your retailer and they will help you send the phone to a service center.
