Xperia S sms and e-mail not working

Hello:

Since I´ve updated my Xperia S to Jelly Bean, my sms and mail services have stopped working. I can´t sned sms and the e-mail app just doesn´t start. Please help I really use this apps!!!!!

Please run a repair to reload the firmware is this case:

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4.     Click repair phone.
5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

Hi my boyfriend updated his xpeeia s yesterday and since then cannot use sms or email either. Tried to repair phone and restore data but it still crashes every time. He also cannot recieve sms messages. It is essential we get this fixed and without losing data on fone. Any ideas?

You can backup your contacts,messages with myphone explorer.And copy media files on your PC,before you try a software repair to fix the issue.But it could also be a faulty SIM.

It was working fine prior to update though so doubt its sim? Have backed up data but second repair attempt and still wont work?

Have you tried redownloading internet settings?Just visit a sony centre close to you.
