Xperia S , pressing power button increases volume.

Hello All,

I updated my Xperia S FW to latest official update two weeks ago. Since today while pressing my power button, the volume increases instead of screen getting locked. Volume increase button works fine too. However i am able to switch off the phone if i press the power button for few second. Please help on this issue.

Force restart the phone(power button+volume up until the phone vibrates one time).See if you encounter this again.If the phone is ok,do not worry.If you still have this problem,have the phone checked at a local sony center.

Thanks for the reply.

I did it once. It restarted without any problem. But the problem is still there . Was in a rain while phone was in pocket, any possible relation? No other problems. Working fine.

It could be hardware related,if the problem persists,have the phone checked at a local service.
