I don't hold answers to all your questions at this point but I can answer a few of them.

Almost all info available can be found in the white paper,

http://dl-www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/105/035/2/1326096543/Xperia_S_WP_1.pdf.

1. No idea, but it sounds correct to me (what you say).

2. I cannot confirm this.

3. It's microSIM.

4. No, it's embedded.

5. Not sure. The white paper has info on the video recording but doesn't mention the fps.

6. There's always a chance. Winking_Face No idea if it will happen though. Slightly_smiling_Face

More info on the phone's tech.spec. will be posted as we close in on the launch.

We (Jeff) is on this one already trying to find out. Check the other thread where you posted this too. I think he will get back to you there.

It's microSIM according to info I got 20 mins ago.

Not applicable

I think it s about time for companies to start releasing just smartphone components so we can build our own phones. This is getting ridiculous. 10 major companies out there, 4 major operating systems and not one single satisfactory phone. For the love of God, we are spilling our guts here in this forum, for so long and noone is listening... One phone has this and not that, the other one has that and not the other, the other one has most and looks like cr@p, the other one has others and you need a backpack to carry it and so on. Make a good phone in 3 sizes and let it go! Off my soapbox, thank you very much!

Okay.. some interesting things I noticed.

1. Magnetometer

2. Gyroscope

3. Ogg Vorbis Audio hehehe  . FLAC or APE would be welcome. But PowerAmp can decode APE.

4. Glonass ... Cool. I hope position acquisition speed is improved. But I am wondering what is the disclaimer for. Glonass have complete coverage worldwide.

However Could someone please answer this point for me ...

How is the Fidelity of the audio compared to the arc? Music is a big deal for me. Which is the audio HW used, DAC type, etc.
