I try to send/recieve file via bluetooth between XSL and PC (Win7 x64) but I can't get it done.
Both PC and XSL can see each other. But when I try to install Bluetooth drivers on Win i get next message
Bluetooth AV source - Install OK
Bluetooth AV Remote control - Install OK
Bluetooth head set AG - Install OK
Bluetooth OPP - Install OK
Bluetooth peripheral device - No driver found.
Where I can find this driver
Please help.
Tnx
You normally find with a Pc you don't need the driver you speak of you normally need to go into your Bluetooth icon and I assume you have one in the bottom right corner known as a tray icon and right click it then click on prepare to receive a file or receive a file this then activates the Bluetooth on your Pc and configures itself for the said operation and if you want to send a file you do the same but then choose Send a file and you may have to on your phone go into your Bluetooth options and choose make device discoverable then when you do send a file you will be asked to pair
Yes, everything you said is correct, but when I want to pair my pc and my phone, need to install drivers so i can use sony pc companion or explore my phone with internet explorer....
For that i need Bluetooth peripheral device
Tnx
This is unusual - The only thing in my experience to help is the Hardware ID and see if there is driver on the net for this - To find the Hardware ID open device manager and look for missing driver denoted by a yellow mark next to it - Right click this and then click on Properties then in the tabs choose Details - From the drop down option list choose Hardware IDs then on your keyboard Press and hold Ctrl and then press C to copy or right click and click on Copy to copy the ID then it's a matter of Googling the ID
The Hardware ID will or should look something like this
BTHENUM\{00001800-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_VID&0002000a_PID&0000
You need to choose the ID that has VID in the name
I found it:
BTHENUM\{8e780202-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_VID&0002000a_PID&0000
Hope you will find it.
Tnx
Well thats the same as mine but mine works fine - Googling the ID says that it is Sony Ericsson sa0101 ADB Interface Driver and Googling that you get several sites to download it from for example here
