Xperia Ray issue while updating to Android 4

I was soo happy to find via PC Companion that the update is finally available.

But I've an issue updating.

In About Phone section it says that my phone is up to date so I cant get a direct download.PC Companion claims there's an update for my phone.

On the '' prepare '' stage the process stops and it says ''  downloading or starting the update failed''.

What can be the solution?

Please try this:

1. Close PC Companion

2. Install java from http://www.java.com/winoffline_installer

3. Start PC Companion again and try to do the SW Update of the phone.

I have the same problem and followed above steps which you have mentioned. But still the problem is not resolved. Please find below the screenshot.

I am using Windows 8. Please let me know how to resolve this problem.
