Hi I am using Xperia Ray and today I forgot to charge so it got shut down when it drained to 0%. I plug it into the usb charge but nothing happen, it won't boot....even the charging icon not showing on the screen. The LED notification is also red. Please tell me what I should do!!!
I like the phone but I am quite disappointment with the battery quality....my old LG or Nokia phone wouldn't die on me even if I forgot to charge it for a day
yeah but were they smartphones and had a screen as big as this one?
Well no they are just symbian phone, but they shouldn't be broken so easily?
Hi, connect phone to PC/Laptop, see if it charges.
no, I was asking bc of the battery life. you should send your phone in, it could be a faulty battery
I have the same issue with my xperia... I have already charged all night long but It doesn´t work...
If I remove the batery, can I loss all my files? Cause are so important to me..
The files remain. Regular backups.
Phone off.
Remove the battery for a few minutes.
Insert the battery.
Phone no turn.
Connect the charger (use original charger and cable).
Charge the phone while turned off for about 5 hours.
If it does not charge additional options:
- try another cable and charger
- try another battery
When fully discharged battery, it takes a long time before it starts charging.
Do not discharge at the battery completely !
:smileyalert:Attention to high temperatures (sun, car, etc)
If that does not work try another battery.
It is also possible to cause some applications.
The same issue with my phone as well.. Tried the steps mentioned by Veresova but of no use.. :smileysad::smileysad::smileysad:
Then visit the service center.
Hello All,
Fianlly go the issue. Once the battery got drained we are not able to charge the same through the phone and the wall charger. I took the battery and charged it seperately using a baterry only charger and then tried switching on the phone and the phone is working fine. But this is such an weird issue and had to spend 30 £ for this at differnet service centres.
Regards,
Shiva
