Satio successor?

Are there any plans for a successor of the Satio?

I'm still with my P1i, and I did not yet upgrade to either the Satio or an other Symbian phone yet. The Satio doesn't feel very solid - too much plastic!

I don't want to switch to Android because I don't want google to spy my email - I rather need a business phone.

I had a look on the Xperia - which is, however, quite unusable... I can't handle Windows Mobile, it's a chaos!! 😞

The upcomming Nokia N8 looks great - but will there be anything compareable be released by Sonyericsson in the near future?

I really don't want to switch to Nokia but if Sonyericsson keeps producing these plastic-style phones there does not seem to be any choice 😞

Any news, anyone?

Will Sonyericsson also release MeeGo phones?

Well there won't be a successor to the Satio as Sony Ericsson are no longer developing the Symbian Operating System.

Will they consequently switch to MeeGo for their multimedia phones then, as does Nokia?

Is there a schedule already when the first MeeGo device will be released by Sonyericsson?

No I dont think Sony Ericsson will have the Meego OS at all.

Just moved from Satio to an Xperia Arc S and I'm regreting. Google now wants to know everything about my life !

You can't have an agenda on the device, it has to be on Google Calendar (or whatever). It copied, without my authorisation, all my long forgoten photos from Google + to my phone. You can't type notes :smileyalert:, the camara is much poorer (no photo editing for instance). The only pluses are the apps
