Xperia PLAY SD card problem

Ok so I've had this phone for about a year and a half and haven't had any real problems until now. When I turn it on it tells me that I can safely remove my SD card. When I try to mount my SD card it then says that it is either damaged and needs to me reformatted or that the SD card is blank. I can get it to work if I mess with it for a while but its getting ridiculous now because my SD card is just fine. Please help. (p.s. the SD card is a 32gb SanDisk Ultra)

There is a switch next to the SD-card holder that needs to be pressed down by the cover. Please check so the back cover is mounted correctly.

If the same problem occurs, I suggest that you format your SD-card or that you try another SD-card.
