Xperia play camera flash keeps going off. Camera not working

My camera flash keeps going off randomly on it's own and when I try to run camera, it says: "Cannot connect to camera." Has anyone ever encountered this problem? Any fixes or solution?

1st backup your phone

thanks for the tip but I have already done that and the problem still persists. I also noticed everytime i press the power key, the camera light keeps flashing. Maybe this is hardware related issue?

I just got the same problem. I didn't even do anything. Bought the phone for less than a year and it giving problem like this. Also the from the phone is too much, no matter what I do, it keep internal refresh and make the whole phone so laggy. I will not buy sony ericsson phone again. Disappointed....
