Windows 7 shows that there is a problem with connecting to the Xperia PLAY via Bluetooth. After choosing "troubleshoot," Windows 7 starts to detect the problem, and then attempts to install a driver for the device (Apply this fix or Skip this fix). If I try to install, Windows 7 has an issue with installation and aborts. Thus I'm back to fixing the issue, or skipping it.
Thing is, I can transfer files to and from the device -- I can even use it as a proximity device to some degree (connection drops alot, causing Windows 7 to think I've walked away). Device Manager also notes the issue, but I'm not exactly sure if there's a way to resolve the conflict. Other Bluetooth devices work just fine without any issues.
I just recently downloaded the latest Bluetooth drivers from Broadcom (6.5.1.2700), so that shouldn't be the issue. I'd like to note that this is the second Windows 7 laptop to have this Bluetooth driver-related issue with the Xperia PLAY. Am I missing something?
There is not much that you can do or change in the phone to affect this. I suggest that you try to reinstall the phone software via SUS and check if same problem remains.

If yes, perhaps the phone needs to be examined at an repair center. Contact you local support team in that case.
